Through hard work, persistence and uncompromising dedication, Fuelset have carved a lasting niche in a scene that sees many bands fade into obscurity. Their unique fusion of solid, aggressive Metal with the likes of Reggae, Hardcore and Rapcore really sets them apart from the rest, and their intense live show is guaranteed to entertain any live music fan.

After releasing their debut album Tear It Down early in 2009, the band received extensive radio airplay on metal shows throughout New Zealand. Their videos have also appeared on music TV stations in New Zealand and Australia. One of their tracks ‘The Gap’ was picked up for use on an episode of kiwi television show Outrageous Fortune and ‘Tear it Down’ was also broadcast in it's entirety to Camden markets in London in early 2010. In late 2010, Fuelset began work on their second album ’Sounds of a Dying Seagull’ planned for release late 2011, The first single from this album ‘Leading Goats to Water’ has already received rave reviews from listeners and has set the bar high for the remainder of the album.

With the constant desire to grow, improve and really mix things up, it’s definitely going to be a case of watch this space.
